- Day 01:
arrive in Sri Lanka and be met by our representative and proceed to preferred beach hotel (ranging from 3 to 5 Star categories) within the regions of Negambo (30 mnts duration of travel) or Colombo – if preferred (90 mnts. Duration of travel)
- Day 02:
proceed to the regions of Dambulla / Sigiriya / Habarana (the cultural triangle) en-route, visit the Pinnawela elephant orphanage , visit the Dambulla rock cave temple, over-night stay within one of the three regions mentioned above – accommodation ranging from 3 to 5 star category hotels.
- Day 03:
after breakfast, proceed to visit the magnificent rock fortress of Sigiriya (world heritage site, argued to be recognized as the 8th wonder of the world), evening visit another UNESCO world heritage city of the second capital of Polonnaruwa. Dinner and over-night stay at hotel of accommodation.
- Day 04:
after breakfast, proceed towards the 7th capital of the world heritage city of Kandy, en-route; visiting a spice garden. In the evening, experience the wonders of Kandyan dance by visiting the cultural show, Over-night stay at preferred hotel, ranging from 3 to 5 star categories.
- Day 05:
after breakfast, have a unique experience of visiting the sacred tooth relic temple of Kandy, followed by a visit to the Royal botanical gardens of Peradeniya and then take a moment to explore Kandy with shopping. Over-night stay at hotel of accommodation.
- Day 06:
travel from an elevation of 1600 feet above sea level to an elevation of 6000 feet above sea level and experience the heritage and the legacies left behind by the colonial era of rule when one visits the regions of “Little England” – the garden city of Nuwara Eliya. En-route our travel; visit a tea factory and experience the complete process of production of Ceylon Tea. Accommodation in preferred hotel, ranging from 3 to 5 star categories.
- Day 07:
after breakfast commence a long journey of travel (5 – 51/2 hours) towards the regions of the Yala National park, or Udawalawe National park. Yala – the regions which has recognition to be populated with the highest accumulation of leopards in the whole of south east Asia, where one could experience a fantastic jeep safari with sighting of nature’s creations of animals and birds at her utmost best. Udawalawe – the kingdom for large herds of wild elephants. Accommodation would range from up-market safari hotels to basic safari hotels.
- Day 08:
after breakfast, drive bordering the beautiful southern coastal belt of the country to your preferred beach hotel within a preferred region, en-route; visiting the Dutch city of Galle. (Recommended beach stay would be within the southern region or Colombo)
Extended beach stay of your choice or prepare for departure.
